Jeremy Bonderman is officially out for the season due to circulatory problems in his shoulder. Bonderman was examined yesterday at the Detroit Medical Center and it was determined he has a blood clot of the axillary vein due to thoracic outlet compression syndrome. Bonderman underwent a thromblysis last night, followed by an angioplasty this morning at the Detroit Medical Center, performed by Dr. Monte Harvill under the supervision of team physician Dr. Stephen Lemos. He will undergo further examination of his condition at a later date. This is devastating news for a team that has been pretty much devastating.

Skype keeps acting more and more like a real phone company (read telco) with the ability to now display Caller ID in North America. With this move Skype continues to pass the "duck test." While you can also opt to display your mobile phone number, I think its far better to use your Skype number and forward it to wherever you want using Skype Out and get the Unlimited Plan. You have more control, especially if you use multiple phone numbers or travel Internationally as you can take greater advantage of Skypes low calling rates.

SanDisks TakeTV - the thing where you plugged a thing into your computer, dragged over movies, and then schlepped them to your TV - is dead along with its content site, FanFare. I probably could have told you that while the concept was solid there was one hole in the plan - that whole schlepping part. Imagine countless exchanges like this: Customer: So I put the movies on here and then??? Best Buy Guy: You walk to your TV and??? Customer: Walk? Best Buy Guy: Really? Whats this whole Windows Media Center thing about?

Shaq always makes me laugh for some reason. The guy just doesnt care and his appearance on ESPN today at the Belmont Stakes was no different. I believe he was doing a promotion for vitamin water, but Shaq decided to give some of the jockeys some tips.... That Diplomatic Immunity line is too funny, and I also love how Hank Goldberg just doesnt care that Kenny Mayne is trying to get a joke in and steps all over him to get that coach question in. Recently people have been noticing that the Google favicon, the small icon in your browsers address bar when you visit a Google site, has changed from the familiar upper-case G to a lower-case one. Google has not changed this design in over eight years, so the change caused speculation that more design changes might be afoot. Well, it turns out that the new Favicon is part of a new family of icons Google has designed for use in different situations, from its logo to the browser favicon to mobile applications.
