Vehicle Description

When I bought this vehicle it was a complete mess. I didnt realize the extent of butchery that the previous owner had put on it. When I got it the engine was removed. They were going to do a b-series swap in it. It did run before they removed the engine, I had heard it run. I bought it with the intent to rebuild the head, put engine back in and drive the car due to gas prices. Well in the mean time of fixing it i found a civic that i bought instead because I needed something sooner than I could get this car done. The engine was not knocking when they took it out so I took the head off and saw the valve seals were shot. Took it to the machine shop and had it checked, new valve guides and new valve seals installed. It also had to have 2 new valves. I have since lost my job and cannot afford to finish it but the engine is back together, runs and does not smoke as far as I can tell. Now I will tell you what it still needs since I found a few things it does need. I will be as honest as possible keep in mind this is a high mileage car and these cars were all abused. Somehow these clowns that took the car apart lost pieces. This is what they lost -Upper rad support where hood latch is -downpipe and exhaust -drivers seatbelt. its the one in the door. -possibly some interior pieces they have it all apart -air intake I used a exhaust manifold off another engine i had but dont have any more exhaust for it and cant afford any. I have an intake tube but no box. It will need a battery. Has one but wont hold charge. WHen i got car the whole interior was taken apart I think they thought they would shave some weight and make it a race car. So lower dash and rest of interior is dismantled. Now what i found was wrong on the car with 244,000 miles -Sunroof leaks -dents -scratches -cancer on quarter panels cut out so didnt spread decent idea but now holes. see pics. -needs inner and outer tie rod ends on right side. -needs outer only on driver side i replaced inner it was what i considered unsafe and did not want to sell like that. Will need alignment of course. -tires are not great but have tread and hold air. - Needs right rear wheel cylinder just started leaking since i got the car. -i just put on left front fender that came with car used to be red and is missing trim. came from junkyard i assume. - Noticed the rear sway bar is MISSING has one end link and thats it. Not sure why. -Has some electrical thing where when you hit brakes tailights and markers come on too. All lights work but just weird. - The hot water shut off valve cable got broken because of people taking out engine. If you want to turn shut off valve have to do manually. -throttle body sticks a little may need new -Needs a corner light for left front I wanted to finish this more but I have ran out of money and dont have much coming in and have no need for it now. The car starts up great and runs smooth. I have done my absolute best to be honest and describe all problems with car. Car should not be driven due to hood not latching and leaking wheel cylinder. I am a technician so all the work I did I tried to do very professional and safe. I just need to get rid of it now.
