About the car

Taken in part exchange and used by myself for the past few months, I would have loved to have kept it as my own personal transport, however with an imminent new arrival I have to sell it as I can not fit three child seats in the back.

This car really is the ideal second/Sunday car. It retails at the same price as an 8 year old Mondeo however has elegance and presence of something much more expensive and with many people assuming the number plate is personalised it makes the car an ageless classic. It is perfect for driving down country roads and enjoying the scenery on a sunny Sunday afternoon but it is also a great motorway car and it eats up the miles with ease whilst you travel in comfort and style.

The car comes equipped with four electric windows, electric mirrors, climate control, driver and passenger air bags, remote central locking, ABS, power steering, virtually unmarked alloy wheels with two new tyres, front fog lights, trip computer, period Jaguar radio/cassette, a full cream leather interior and a boot, with remote release, which is big enough to fit your golf clubs in for that Sunday morning game.

Due to the age and mileage of the car there are a few minor dents and scratches which do not show up on the pictures however they do not detract from the overall look of the car. The leather is in good condition and although it has a worn patina, as would be expected from a car of this age and mileage, there are no tears or rips. The leather has been freshly cleaned and treated when the car was valeted.

All the electrics appear to work apart from the digital time clock which is a common fault on these Jaguars.

The vehicle has an extensive service history and has just had a 20,000 mile service carried out in our onsite workshop which included, oil and filter, air filter and spark plugs. The Jaguar was supplied new by H.R. Owen of :namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /London and comes with a stamped up service book as follows:

We are a small independent family run business specialising in affordable family estate cars with prices ranging from ?1,000 to ?10,000.

The decision to set up my own business after 10 successful years in the motor industry was brought about after I purchased a Volvo for my then pregnant wife. I was so disappointed by the after sales service and general lack of attention that this so called Volvo specialist gave us I decided to take the plunge and set up a car sales business which specialised in attention to detail and customer care.

As a parent of twins I realise the importance of having a car that is well maintained and reliable and I would never sell a vehicle that I would not be happy letting my wife and children travel in.

To achieve the highest standard customer satisfaction all our vehicles have been thoroughly road tested, given a full inspection, and any faults that we find are either rectified or brought to your attention, we believe in the importance of honesty to allow you to make an informed choice when purchasing a vehicle.

We do not believe in the ‘hard sell’ tactics so often employed in this industry. A member of the family will always be on hand to answer any questions, take you for a test drive or help you in any way that you require.

All our cars are fully serviced including cam belt replacement (where applicable) and meticulously valeted with every attention given to the smallest detail. We even touch up the stone chips.

Unless otherwise stated the vehicle will come with a 12 month M.O.T and all cars over ?1500 come with a minimum6 month AA warranty for your peace of mind. (extended warranty options are available).

Any Inspection welcome, we do not have specific opening hours, you may view a car anytime you like, just give us a ring to arrange a time convenient to you.

Optional extras

All vehicles are sold with a full set of mats; tailored mats are available at an additional cost.

If vehicles are not fitted with a CD player, we are happy to supply either a new or used CD player at an additional cost and we will fit it free of charge.

We can also supply tow bars and dog guards at additional cost.

Parking sensors can also be fitted to any purchase at an additional cost.

If there is anything else that you require fitted to a vehicle, such as hands free kits or Alloy Wheels, we will be more than happy to discuss prices and facilitate your request.
